Parties: Property Watch Certified Systems (“PWCS”, “we/us”) and the undersigned individual (“You”).
These Terms govern your use of the Property Watch Professional designation and any PWCS brand assets (badges, wording, and related materials). This is a designation, not a certification, license, or endorsement.
By accepting these Terms, you attest that:
You passed the Property Watch Professional designation test.
You are 18 years of age or older.
You have no criminal record and no convictions for fraud, theft, violence, property damage, or breach of trust.
The name, business/trading name, and address you provide are accurate and current, and you will notify PWCS of any changes within 10 days.
Disclosure: PWCS does not conduct background checks or independently verify any information you submit. PWCS relies on your attestation. Any false, misleading, or incomplete statement may result in immediate suspension or revocation (see §6).
a. While your designation is active, you may state you are a “Property Watch Professional (PWCS)”.
b. Use only approved badges/wording exactly as provided; do not alter the marks.
c. Do not imply employment, partnership, agency, endorsement, insurance, guarantee, or that PWCS supervises your services.
d. No assignment, transfer, or sublicensing of the designation or marks.
a. Follow all applicable laws and regulations, HOA/strata rules, and client instructions.
b. Stay within the scope of property checks covered by PWCS training; do not perform regulated/security/trade work unless separately licensed.
c. Maintain records sufficient to respond to reasonable client/insurer queries.
d. Maintain insurance where required by law, contract, or client.
If you opt in, you consent to PWCS displaying selected fields (e.g., name, business name, city/region, contact links) in a public directory. You may opt out by emailing support; removal will occur within a reasonable period.
PWCS may suspend or revoke your designation, directory listing, and brand-use permission if:
a. We receive credible information of misrepresentation, misconduct, or brand misuse;
b. You breach these Terms;
c. You fail to respond to a PWCS clarification request within 14 days; or
d. Program requirements change.
PWCS may request updated information; failure to provide may result in suspension.
a. PWCS provides training, the designation, and brand assets “as is” without warranties of any kind.
b. PWCS is not a party to your client engagements and is not liable for your services, omissions, or outcomes.
c. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PWCS’s total liability arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed CAD $100.
You consent to PWCS storing your submission (including attestations, signature, timestamp, and IP) as part of your designation record. If you request deletion, PWCS may first revoke your designation and then delete records not required for legal or compliance purposes.
PWCS may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or posting, and apply upon notice. These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada (conflict rules excluded). Exclusive venue is the courts of British Columbia.
